SDG Roundtable: Summer 2021

July 27, 2021 @ 12:00 pm CDT

/ Free

The 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a United Nations plan to build a better world for people and our planet by 2030. These goals recognize that ending poverty must go hand-in-hand with strategies that build economic growth, address social needs such as education, health, and equality, and tackle climate challenges by working to preserve oceans and forests.

Hear from Karen Brown, Director, Interdisciplinary Center for the Study of Global Change and Katey Pelican, DVM, Ph.D. Associate Professor, Department of Veterinary Population Medicine as they discuss the full range of SDG-related activities happening throughout the University of Minnesota.
