Around the World Online Fundraiser and Auction

As we look at how best to keep our Global Minnesota community healthy, and based on CDC and Minnesota Health Department recommendations, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the in-person portion of our gala on May 2.

Although we will miss seeing you on May 2, we hope you will maintain your support for this critical event, which raises approximately $270,000 of our $1.5 million budget. Help Global Minnesota continue its mission to advance international understanding and engagement in Minnesota. In times of uncertainty like these, quality information and cross-cultural understanding are needed more than ever.

Our focus country, Italy, is being especially devastated by the pandemic. We had hoped to celebrate Italy’s many wonderful contributions to the world together on May 2. Our thoughts, like yours, are with the people of Italy at this difficult time and we look forward to celebrating Italy appropriately when the time is right.
