Doing Business in Brazil in Turbulent Times

December 11, 2019 @ 8:00 am CST

/ Free

The election of Jair Bolsonaro. The burning of the Amazon Rainforest. The constant ups and downs of the economy. It is indeed a challenging time to be doing business in Brazil. But for those American companies that accept the challenge, the rewards can be quite substantial.

Come listen to representatives from three Minnesota companies that have successfully navigated the waters of Brazilian trade and commerce, as they discuss the obstacles that they have faced in the Brazilian market and how they turned them into opportunities. The program will include a panel discussion featuring Paulo Telles from Crown Iron Works, Andrew Hense from Loram Maintenance of Way, Inc., and Global Minnesota board member Dr. John Pournoor from 3M.

Please note: U.S. Bank Plaza follows a security protocol that requires all visitors to the building to register and be issued a guest badge. If you plan to attend this event, we strongly encourage registering at least 48 hours in advance, in order to expedite your arrival experience. Walk-in event attendees should allow for extra time for onsite security registration.
