October 21, 2020 @ 3:00 pm CDT

As the world becomes more complex and interconnected, the United Nations (UN) is needed more than ever. However, its major partner – the United States, is pulling away from the UN, as can be seen by its slow paying Peacekeeping dues, and by withdrawing from the Paris Climate Treaty, the Iran Nuclear Framework, and the World Health Organization.
