Marketing and Communications Internship

The Marketing and Communications team works to increase Global Minnesota’s visibility among targeted stakeholders and the community at large, and to engage Minnesotans in Global Minnesota’s mission. The team accomplishes this by: establishing strategic marketing and communications goals that are implemented across a variety of channels, developing key messages to give the organization a consistent voice, developing brand and style guides, engaging with media, overseeing day-to-day communication efforts, and much more.

Common Tasks

  • Copyrighting and editing various communication materials including letters, articles, memos, and social media content
  • Help produce weekly electronic newsletter
  • Contribute to Global Minnesota‚Äôs bimonthly print newsletter
  • Monitor website activity
  • Social media research
